Mt.Sinai Soccer is led by ETA Soccer Inc. ETA teaches an attacking-possession style of soccer. Our teams are taught to play out of the back and attack from different points as quickly and as often as possible, tempered by a healthy respect for the importance of ball possession. The goal of ETA Soccer Inc is to have each player within the club (U8-U19) learn and practice the same style of soccer, in all training sessions and in every competitive match. This allows our players to be interchangeable on different teams without missing a beat, and ultimately enhancing our program.
We utilize four developmental stages to teach this attacking style of soccer:
These stages are:
Early Stage: Ball skills development - U8 and U9
Developmental Stage: Ball skills development w/competition - U10 and U11
Transitional Stage: Advanced ball skills, tactical development w/competition - U12 and U13
Competitive Stage: The above w/strength & core training - U14 through U19
ETA Soccer Inc staff consists of NSCAA & USSF diploma and licensed coaches & NSCA certified strength & conditioning trainers
Members of our ETA coaching staff have played professionally in France, Brazil, Greece, Puerto Rico, China & England. Our coaches have also played at the collegiate DIII, DII and DI soccer levels and on youth national teams. In addition to soccer training/coaching our staff further provides professional strength, conditioning, speed and agility training for players and parents.
