Travel Programs

Mt. Sinai Youth Soccer offers three travel soccer programs:  Developmental Pre-Travel, Travel and Inter-league. The club currently has 10 teams participating in leagues throughout Long Island. Travel soccer offers a higher level of competition and requires a higher level of commitment.

Developmental Pre-Travel:

Mt. Sinai Soccer’s Developmental Pre-travel program is for boys and girls ages 8 to 9 who want a more competitive environment than is found in our intramurals.  These are players who wish to prepare for future travel play by focusing on personal skill development and competitive team play.   Teams are formed only when player demand is sufficient. Teams compete with other Suffolk County teams in BU9, and GU9 divisions through the Suffolk Soccer Inter-league (SSI).

Travel:

Mt. Sinai Soccer’s Travel Program is for those players 9 and over who wish to play competitive travel soccer.   All of our travel teams are professionally trained and coached by volunteers. Tryouts are held in early June to form Boys and Girls teams for the following Fall and Spring seasons. Teams compete through the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL).  Currently, Mt. Sinai has boys and girls travel teams on the U10, U11, U12, & U13 levels.

Inter-league:

Mt. Sinai Soccer’s Inter-league Program is for those players 9 and over who would like to continue with soccer at a less competitive level than Travel provides.  Inter-league is a fun environment where growing soccer players can keep playing.  Teams are formed only when player demand is sufficient.  Teams compete with other Suffolk County Inter-league teams through the Suffolk Soccer Inter-league (SSI).
